Getting There

Harrogate is on the Harrogate line, with direct trains from Leeds (around 40 minutes) and York (around 40 minutes). From London, the most practical route is to travel to Leeds by East Midlands Railway or LNER from King's Cross, then change for Harrogate. The total journey is typically 2.5 to 3 hours. Harrogate railway station is in the centre of town, a five-minute walk from Parliament Street.

By road, Harrogate is about 210 miles north of London via the A1(M), a 3.5 to 4 hour drive depending on traffic. The nearest international airports are Leeds Bradford Airport (around 8 miles west, no direct public transport link) and Manchester Airport (around 70 miles south).
