Struell Wells sits east of town in a small rocky valley where water feeds a group of holy wells and old stone bath houses. The tradition is wrapped around St Patrick, but the place feels older than any single saint.
Pilgrims once came here for elaborate penances and cures, and the surviving structures make that history unusually tangible. It is a quiet, slightly odd stop, best visited with a car and a little time to look closely.
