Broadford is not a village that sells itself on indoor attractions — it's a base and a crossroads. The things that make it worth stopping are outside: the Red Hills rising directly above the village, the single-track road south to Elgol and Loch Coruisk, and the walks through glacially scoured terrain that most visitors to Skye miss in their rush to Portree and the Quiraing.
