One of the more reliable traditional pubs in Aberystwyth, with a central location close to the castle ruins and seafront. A good range of real ales, including Welsh beers from Felinfoel and other local breweries. The interior retains some of its Victorian character — wooden floors, old fittings — without having been over-restored. Busy in term time, quieter and more comfortable in the off-season.
