North Bimini is small — about 12 kilometres long and rarely more than a few hundred metres wide — and Alice Town can be walked end to end in fifteen minutes. For the few longer trips along the King's Highway, the cheapest option is a shared taxi-van; you can also rent a golf cart, which is the local vehicle of choice and the most fun way to get around.
South Bimini, where the airport is, sits across a narrow channel that is crossed by a regular water taxi — the boats run continuously during the day and cost a few dollars. To get out to the dive sites, the Sapona, or the dolphin grounds you will need to charter a boat or join a tour from one of the marinas.
