Southampton's south shore is the main draw: Horseshoe Bay ranks among the world's most photographed beaches, and a clifftop trail east of it links a chain of quieter coves. Inland, Gibbs Hill Lighthouse has been guiding ships since 1846. The South Shore Park coastline and the old Bermuda Railway Trail give walkers and cyclists a route away from the road.
