Brewer's Bay is a curving, well-sheltered beach on the north coast, immediately west of Cane Garden Bay and reached by a steep, twisting road. It is quieter than its more famous neighbour and has some of the best snorkelling on the island — the reef at the western end is easy to reach by swimming out from the beach, with coral heads, sergeant majors, and the occasional turtle.
A simple beach bar and a couple of rental kayaks are the only facilities. The ruins of an 18th-century rum distillery and a tall stone chimney stand at the eastern end, half-buried in vegetation — a quiet reminder of the plantation past that produced these landscapes.
