Road Town has the best concentration of restaurants on the island, ranging from local roti shops and fish stalls to sit-down places around the marina. Most hotels have their own restaurants, and several of the better meals on the island are eaten at fort- or beach-side hotel dining rooms.
The beach bars at Cane Garden Bay are the social heart of the island for visitors. Go in the evening when the fishing boats are in and the bars are busy — food here leans toward grilled fish and lobster, and the local rum drinks are cheap and strong.
