A small but well-maintained four-acre botanic garden in central Road Town, established in 1979 on the site of the old colonial agricultural station. The collection covers Caribbean palms, orchids, medicinal plants, and a small rainforest section with a pond and a thatched-roof gazebo. A pleasant 45-minute escape from the heat of the streets, particularly in the morning.
The garden was badly damaged by Hurricane Irma in 2017 and has been slowly recovering since; some sections are still being replanted. Free entry, open during daylight hours.
