City Park is Kelowna's front porch on Okanagan Lake, a broad lakefront park just south of downtown. It gathers many of the things that define the city in summer: beach time, volleyball, lawns, walking paths, families with coolers, and long views across the water to the dry hills beyond.
It is not wilderness, and that is the point. City Park is where Kelowna feels most accessible without a car or a winery booking, especially early in the morning or around sunset when the lake softens the whole downtown edge.
