Marten Brewing is one of Vernon's best-regarded craft breweries, operating a downtown taproom on 30th Avenue with a rotating selection of ales, lagers, and seasonal beers made on site. The setup is unpretentious — long communal tables, friendly staff, and a good selection of food to go with the pints. Local hops appear in some of the house beers.
The taproom gets lively on weekend evenings and during major sporting events. They typically have a dozen taps running, with a mix of flagship and small-batch brews. A good place to sit for an hour and take stock of Vernon over a cold glass.
