Coronation Glacier is one of the great ice features feeding the park's high Arctic drama. Seen from a safe distance, it gives scale to the valleys and peaks around the pass.
Glacier travel should be left to properly equipped parties. For most visitors, the best view is the one that keeps them off the ice and out of crevasse terrain.
