Haliburton is a base for the outdoors, not a town with attractions of its own. The main draws are the Haliburton Sculpture Forest and the trail system in Glebe Park around it. The Highlands themselves — the rocky lake country to the north and east — are best seen from a canoe, on a hike, or from the lookouts in Haliburton Highlands Provincial Park.
