The Sir Adam Beck Power Station is part of the hydroelectric system that turns the force of the Niagara River into power. It is north of the main falls area, near the Floral Clock and other Niagara Parkway sights.
When tours are running, the station gives useful context for the engineering side of Niagara Falls: not just the spectacle of the water, but the infrastructure built to use it.
