Things to Do

The natural beauty that is Niagara Falls automatically lends itself to outdoor activities, and there are many ways to appreciate the great outdoors with a variety of things to do.

**Take in the Falls

**See the Niagara River Canyon from an entirely new perspective with a Whirlpool Jet Boat Tour. Fun for young or old, couples or families, this experience is exhilarating. Experience class 5 rapids at Devil's Hole, the 360 degree rotation at Hamilton's Turn, and the amazing scenery of the Niagara Canyon on the tour. Covered boats also available for those that don't care to get wet.

Feel like taking in the view at your own pace? The White Water Walk might be more your speed. The boardwalk runs about 1000 feet beside the edge of some of the wildest white water rapids to be seen anywhere, and offers a spectacular view. The boardwalk is open from April through November and hours are subject to change.

Yet another way to take in that view is with the Journey Behind the Falls, providing a different angle from the other side of the water. You will first take a 150-foot descent down to the tunnels leading to the viewing portals below and behind the sheet of water. From there the upper and lower observation decks are available for additional viewing. Hours are dependent upon the season, and complimentary ponchos are available in the warmer months. ** Take to the Air

**Those seeking bigger thrills should head indoors to Niagara Freefall, for some indoor skydiving. Experience the adventure of skydiving in the controlled environment of an indoor wind tunnel. Guests will receive 25 minutes of pre-flight and safety training prior to their dive, and all equipment is provided. Open 7 days a week, prices start at $70 for a 3-minute flight.

Helicopters offer a birds-eye view of the best sights in the area, with tours for couples or families, and some companies even conduct weddings in the sky.
