Osgoode Hall

Osgoode Hall is one of downtown Toronto's grand 19th-century landmarks, built for the Law Society of Upper Canada and still used by Ontario's courts and legal institutions. Its stone facade, iron fence, and formal grounds make it stand out even among the civic buildings around Queen Street.

The building is open to the public in limited ways, and tours may need to be arranged ahead. Even from outside, it is worth a short stop between City Hall, the theatre district, and the Art Gallery of Ontario.
