Harbour Drive

The waterfront road and the heart of cruise-ship George Town — a string of duty-free jewellery shops, T-shirt vendors, watch dealers, and a handful of restaurants. Architecturally not much: most of the buildings are 1980s and later. The interest is in the harbour itself, where tenders ferry cruise passengers from ships moored just offshore in the deeper water.

Walk it before 10 am or after 5 pm to avoid the cruise crowds. The pier at the north end has a small visitor centre and an open view of Seven Mile Beach curving north. The Cayman National Museum and Fort George are both within 200 metres.
