Aquiares Waterfall is a nature stop near Turrialba, reached through the green coffee-growing countryside around Aquiares. The appeal is as much the approach as the fall itself: rural roads, plantations, and the wet foothill landscape of Costa Rica's central highlands.
It is a good add-on if you are already using Turrialba for rafting, volcano views, or coffee-country wandering. Check local access before setting out, since small waterfall paths can change with weather and land-management rules.
