Muelle Tzanjuyú is Panajachel's main public dock and the practical centre of Lake Atitlán travel. Lanchas leave from here for villages around the lake, loading passengers, sacks, backpacks, crates, and the occasional bewildered first-time visitor in a system that looks chaotic but usually works.
Come early for the best lake views and smoother crossings. Ask clearly for your destination, agree the fare if you are unsure, and keep your bag close in the spray. The dock is also a good place to understand Panajachel's role: the town exists because everything on the lake passes through it sooner or later.
