San Pedro has the liveliest nightlife on the lake, which isn't saying much — it's still a small town. Bars cluster in the Zona Viva, the strip of lanes between the two docks. Full moon parties are the social high point, drawing travellers from across the lake. The coffee scene is strong: Guatemala grows excellent beans, and several cafes roast and brew locally grown Atitlán coffee.
