The Avenida Circunvalacion is the main nightlife strip, lined with bars, clubs, and restaurants. Things get going late -- most places do not fill up until after midnight. Confetti's Disco and the nearby Kawanas Bay are the biggest dance clubs, popular with a younger crowd. For a mellower start to the evening, the bars along the Circunvalacion serve cheap drinks to a mixed crowd of locals and expats. Keep your wits about you at night; stick to well-lit areas and use radio-dispatched taxis to get home.
