San Pedro Sula has the best restaurant scene in Honduras outside of Tegucigalpa. You will find the full range of American fast food chains along the Circunvalacion, but the more interesting choices are the Honduran and Central American places. For local food, try Casa de Campo or Las Carnitas. Italian is well represented with Tre Fratelli and La Romanina. The Mexican spots El Fogoncito and Los Cebollines are reliable. For something upscale, Baranda on 20 Avenida has been a fixture for decades.
