The Macromural de Palmitas covers a hillside neighbourhood in broad ribbons of colour. From a distance it reads as one giant mural; up close it is a set of ordinary streets, stairs, houses, and walls turned into a public-art project.
It is best seen with daylight and a local sense of where to stand for the full view. Treat it as a short detour rather than a polished attraction, and be respectful that this is a residential area first.
