Mina de Acosta is a historic mine near Pachuca that produced silver, gold, and lead from the 18th century into the late 20th century. Guided visits cover the old mine buildings, machinery, and underground workings.
Visitors usually put on hard hats and boots before descending into part of the mine. It is one of the more direct ways to understand the mining history that shaped Pachuca and nearby Real del Monte.
