The Parroquia de San Francisco anchors one of the most useful stops in central Pachuca. The church has a Baroque facade, a single bell tower, and a calmer atmosphere than the plazas around the Reloj Monumental.
The reason to come is the whole complex rather than the church alone. The former convent precinct also holds cultural spaces, gardens, and the Museo de la Fotografía, so it works well as a slow hour in the old centre.
