The town is small enough to walk in a few minutes. To reach the waterfalls, your options are to hire a taxi from the market area (negotiate the price before you go) or to flag down a passing colectivo on the highway heading toward Palenque — ask the driver to drop you at the turning for Agua Azul or Misol-Ha. There are no organised tour operators in Salto de Agua itself; most guided excursions to the falls depart from Palenque.
