Klein Bonaire is the flat, uninhabited islet facing Kralendijk. Water taxis land at No Name Beach, a clean curve of white sand beside clear water and easy reef access. The absence of roads, buildings, and beach clubs is the point.
Snorkelling can be excellent, but current and boat traffic vary around the island; follow the operator's briefing rather than setting off blindly along the reef. Sea turtles nest on protected beaches, so observe closures and marked areas.
There is no reliable fresh water, food, or natural shade at the landing beach. Bring more water and sun protection than you expect to need, take all rubbish back, and confirm the last return boat before settling in.
