Drive-up hilltop viewpoint over Kralendijk, Klein Bonaire, and the dry island interior.

Seru Largu, Papiamentu for “large hill,” gives the easiest broad view of central Bonaire. A paved road climbs to the monument at the top, where Kralendijk, Klein Bonaire, the salt flats, and the northern ridges spread out in different directions.

Come late in the day for cooler air and clearer shape in the landscape. The viewpoint is a short stop rather than a hike, though nearby trails extend into the dry hills. New Year's Eve is unusually busy because islanders gather here to watch fireworks below.
