Cerro La Silla is a short but steep hike near El Valle, with open views across the volcanic valley and the surrounding green ridges. The final climb gains only about 80 metres, but it is sharp enough to feel like more in the heat.
If you have your own transport, you can park lower on the track and walk the last section. Go early, carry water, and do not underestimate how slippery the path can become after rain.
