Blue Beach — officially Playa La Chiva — is not one beach but a sequence of small coves strung along a couple of kilometres of refuge coastline east of Red Beach. The dirt road has marked pull-offs every few hundred metres, and at each you have a near-private cove with a few palm trees for shade.
Snorkelling is better here than at Red Beach: turtles, rays, and the occasional small reef shark are easy to spot in the clear water along the rocky outcrops. Bring a high-clearance vehicle if it has rained recently; the road is dirt and rutted in places.
