Getting There

International flights land at Hewanorra International Airport on the southern tip of the island, about 90 minutes by road from Castries. There are direct flights from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and a handful of European cities, plus regional connections through Barbados and Trinidad.

The much smaller George F. L. Charles Airport on the Vigie peninsula handles regional flights to the other eastern Caribbean islands — Barbados, Martinique, Antigua, Trinidad, and so on. Inter-island ferries also call at Castries: the L'Express des Iles runs to Martinique, Guadeloupe, and Dominica.

Cruise ships dock at Pointe Seraphine on the north side of the harbour or at the older terminal in town.
