When to Go

The dry season runs from January to April, with warm days (28–31°C), low humidity, and almost no rain. This is high season for the Caribbean and prices are at their highest, but the weather is unbeatable.

May, June, and November are good shoulder months — still warm and bright, prices lower, occasional showers. The wet season runs from July to October, with frequent heavy downpours, higher humidity, and the risk of hurricanes, peaking in August and September.

The big party event of the year is Saint Lucia Jazz Festival in early May, with international acts on outdoor stages around Castries and Pigeon Island. Carnival in mid-July fills the city with sound system trucks, costumed bands, and calypso competitions.
