Eating Out

Huntsville's food scene has matured considerably. The blocks around Clinton Avenue and the Lowe Mill arts complex support a range of restaurants that would not be out of place in a much larger city. Southern staples hold their own alongside newer spots serving everything from ramen to Ethiopian food. The city's tech-sector money has pushed quality upward without eliminating the unpretentious joints that made the local reputation in the first place.
