One-Eyed Jack

A 26-foot-tall fibreglass jackrabbit sculpture stands outside the Scottsdale Fashion Square mall on Camelback Road, missing one eye in a deliberate nod to the Southwestern myth of the jackalope. The artist, Donald Lipski, called it a celebration of the past and the future of the region — though the missing eye gets more attention than the symbolism.

It is a quick stop, but it is one of the more genuinely odd pieces of public art in Greater Phoenix and worth a photo for anyone who likes their roadside attractions oversized.
