Augie's is the local coffee roaster with a downtown flagship cafe on 5th Street. The single-origin pour-overs are the thing to order; the espresso is solid; the pastry case is usually well-stocked from local bakeries. The room is bright and a little industrial, with enough seating for a quiet hour of work.
Open from about 6 a.m. on weekdays. There is a second location on Citrus Avenue if the downtown shop is full.
