The Santa Fe Depot District covers the old railway commercial blocks just north of Orange Street, anchored by a restored 1910 Mission Revival station. The depot itself is the standout — pink stucco, red tile roof, the kind of building Southern California built for itself in the early 20th century — and after decades of disuse it now serves the Arrow rail line connecting Redlands to San Bernardino. Several of the surrounding warehouses and commercial buildings have been converted to restaurants and small businesses.
The district is small but full of period detail. Combine a walk through here with the downtown and Smiley Park district for a complete loop of historic Redlands.
