Huntington City Beach

The central stretch on either side of the pier

The central beach, running about three miles between Beach Boulevard and Goldenwest Street, with the pier at its midpoint. This is the busiest, most photographed, most surfed-on stretch in town. Fire pits run along the sand south of the pier — first come first served, free, and one of the best things to do on a summer evening. Cement bike path along the back of the beach all the way to the state beach in either direction.
