Linger occupies the old Olinger Mortuary on the bluff above the Highlands — and leans into the building's history with quiet humour. The signature feature is a long rooftop deck with the best skyline view of any restaurant in Denver, looking straight back across the Platte at downtown's lights. The food is small-plates global, the cocktails reliable.
Bookings are nearly always needed for the deck. Even non-diners can come up to the bar for a sundowner before walking across to the Highlands restaurants for dinner proper.
