LoDo

Lower Downtown — LoDo — is the 25-block warehouse district that became Denver's nightlife heart in the 1990s and never gave the title back. Bound roughly by 14th, 20th, Wynkoop and Larimer, it's the densest stretch of red-brick Victorian commercial architecture in the American West, and the city's first designated historic district.

The defining experiences are: a baseball game at Coors Field, a long evening of bars and brewpubs around Wynkoop and Blake Streets (start at the Wynkoop Brewing Company, Denver's oldest), and a stroll up Larimer Square for dinner. Union Station anchors the western edge, full of restaurants in its own right.
