Guanabanas is the most atmospheric restaurant in the Jupiter/Tequesta area — an open-air waterfront spot on the Intracoastal Waterway in Jupiter, just south of the inlet. The setting is genuinely beautiful: thatched tiki structures, tropical plantings, live music most evenings, and boats pulling up to the dock to dine. The menu is Florida coastal: grilled fish, conch fritters, lobster bisque, fish tacos. None of it is cheap, but the grouper sandwich is very good and the location makes it worth a visit even if you only stop for a drink.
Arrive early or expect a wait — it fills up quickly, especially on weekends.
