Things to Do

Tequesta sits at the junction of the Loxahatchee River and the Jupiter Inlet, which means most of the best activities involve the water. Kayaking and fishing dominate — the calm, tannin-stained river winds through subtropical forest and is home to manatees, otters, and bald eagles. The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse is the area's most prominent landmark, and Blowing Rocks Preserve on nearby Jupiter Island offers a dramatic stretch of Atlantic coastline unlike anything else in South Florida.
