Littleton Grist Mill

A 19th-century grist mill still operating on the Ammonoosuc River, where you can watch stone-ground flour being made much as it was 150 years ago. The mill sits right in the centre of town and sells its own flours, pancake mixes, and local products in the on-site shop. The waterwheel and exposed millstones are worth a look even if you don't buy anything. The riverside setting, with the covered walking bridge nearby, makes this one of the most photogenic spots in town.
