The classical federal building at the bottom of Main Street served as the US Post Office and Courthouse from its construction in 1910 until the courthouse function was relocated. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it's a handsome piece of federal architecture — granite, symmetrical, with arched windows — that anchors the lower end of the main commercial strip. Still functioning as Littleton's post office, so you can step inside to look at the interior.
