Most of Atlantic City's nightlife is inside the casinos, which between them have dozens of bars, lounges, clubs and showrooms. Borgata, at the marina end of town, has the best concentration of upmarket bars and the Music Box showroom; Hard Rock has the HRAC Live arena for concerts; Caesars and Harrah's run clubs along the boardwalk strip. Outside the casinos, the historic Irish Pub on St James Place has been pouring pints of Guinness to locals since the 1890s and is the best place in the city for a quiet drink in an unreconstructed setting. Tun Tavern, near the Convention Center, is a microbrewery named for the 1685 Philadelphia tavern where the US Marine Corps was founded; the beer is decent and the atmosphere low-key.
