Pennsville

Small Delaware River township at the New Jersey end of the Delaware Memorial Bridge.

Pennsville is a small township on the eastern bank of the Delaware River in Salem County, New Jersey. It serves as the southern gateway to the New Jersey Turnpike and sits at the New Jersey end of the Delaware Memorial Bridge, which connects to Wilmington, Delaware.

The town is quiet and largely residential, but its riverside location gives it some charm. Riverview Beach Park offers views across the Delaware, and the area has a handful of local diners and shops that cater to the community rather than tourists. If you are passing through on your way up or down the coast, it is a reasonable place to stop and stretch your legs.
