Jims Steakout has become a sort of tradition for those that are looking for food after visiting the bars and nightclubs on Friday and Saturday nights.
The signature hoagy, the Loaded Hoagy, has chopped steak, mushrooms, onions, lettuce, tomato, cheese and special sauce on a 12 inch sub roll.
Be forewarned, this item is HUGE, messy, and a gastronomic nightmare for the unprepared.
Other standard fare includes submarine/hoagy/bombers, as well as chicken wings, chicken fingers, salads, tacos, and much more.
All locations stay open until 5:00am, and can be extremely busy (and loud) at bar closing times.
The cheerful staff are always willing to thank you for adding to their tip jar, and it's common to hear the staff on cue say "thank you" when the cashier lets them know you had tipped.
Even if you don't get the loaded hoagy or loaded turkey hoagy for that matter, it gives visitors an excellent view of the spirit of Buffalo "Cuisine".
