Anyela's sits on a steep slope above the western shore of Skaneateles Lake, with rows of riesling and chardonnay running down to the water and a wood-and-glass tasting room with one of the best views in the Finger Lakes. The wines lean dry — the rieslings are the standout — and tastings are reasonably priced.
Light food (cheese boards, flatbreads) is available; in summer the lawn fills up with picnickers, and the Skaneateles Festival uses the lawn for its open-air concerts. Drive carefully on the West Lake Road — it is narrow and twisting.
