Getting Around

The village itself is entirely walkable — Genesee Street from the top of the hill to Clift Park at the lake is less than ten minutes on foot, and the historic district, restaurants and shops are all within a few blocks. There is no local bus service and no bike-share.

A car is essential for anything outside the village core: the lake-shore drives, Anyela's Vineyards, the other Finger Lakes towns, and the state parks and gorges to the south. Parking in the village is free in municipal lots but can be tight on summer weekend afternoons; arriving before noon saves frustration.
