Lolita is Michael Symon's first restaurant — opened in 1997, briefly closed and reopened, and one of the longest-running fine-dining rooms in Cleveland. The menu is Mediterranean-leaning: wood-fired pizzas, hand-cut pasta, a strong vegetable section, and a few heavier mains (steak, the famous burger) that anchor the bill.
The Tremont room is small, warm, and consistently full; reservations are essential on weekends. The cocktail list is unusually long for an Italian restaurant and worth investigating. Service is informal but skilled.
Open evenings only; closed Mondays.
