A miniature reconstruction of Jerusalem at the time of Christ, set among the granite outcrops of the Wichita Mountains. Built in stone in the 1930s by a Lutheran pastor and local volunteers, it includes a Last Supper hall, Pilate's Court, the Calvary cross, and several other locations from the Passion narrative.
Every Easter Sunday for nearly a century, the Holy City has hosted a sunrise Passion play that draws thousands of spectators from across the southern plains. Outside Easter, the site is open year-round and free; the buildings can be walked into and around.
